To our esteemed Board of Governors, dedicated staff, supportive parents, and, most importantly, our brilliant students,
As we stand on the threshold of 2026, I am filled with profound gratitude and a sense of renewed purpose. The year 2025 has been historic chapter for st. Balikudembe sss Kisoga, one defined by the theme of “Stunning Resilience.” As we usher in this New Year, we do not merely look back at our successes; we use them as the foundation upon which we will build an even brighter future for our “Cathedral of Education.”
The past year was a testament to what we can achieve through faith and collective effort. We began 2025 with ambitious goals, and by the grace of God, we saw them come to fruition. The highlight of our year was undoubtedly the celebration of our Patron Saint’s Day and Family Day, where we witnessed the blessing of our new school bus. This acquisition has already begun to transform the student experience, allowing for safer travels and greater exposure through educational field trips.
Academically, our students continued to raise the bar. Seeing our top performers excel in their UNEB examinations many moving from modest beginnings to achieving maximum points—reminds us that at St. Balikuddembe, no dream is too big. We celebrated the admission of our alumni into prestigious medical and engineering programs at Makerere and other top universities, proving that our holistic approach to education is yielding global competitors.
As we enter 2026, our focus remains steadfast on Academic Excellence, Moral Integrity, and Physical Development. The construction of our modern administration and classroom block remains a top priority. This facility is not just a building; it is a symbol of our commitment to providing a 21st-century learning environment that fosters innovation and critical thinking.
In the coming year, we are intensifying our focus on:
  1. Digital Integration: We will continue to upgrade our ICT laboratories and integrate technology into everyday learning to ensure our students are “future-ready.”
  2. Holistic Mentorship: Beyond textbooks, we are committed to the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of our learners. Our counseling departments and spiritual programs will be strengthened to help our students navigate the challenges of modern youthhood.
  3. Skills and Talents: We will continue to invest in our sports programs and cultural activities, like the Nkobazambogo, ensuring that every student has a platform to shine outside the classroom.
To our parents, I thank you for the trust you place in us. Your partnership is the backbone of this institution. In 2026, I encourage you to remain active participants in your children’s education. Let us communicate often and work together to mold the character of these young leaders.
To our staff, your tireless dedication is the reason we are a household name in Mukono and beyond. I am honored to lead a team of professionals who view teaching not just as a job, but as a calling. Let us approach this new year with fresh energy and a commitment to “working smart.”
To my dear students, you are the reason we are here. As you return for the new term, carry with you the lessons of 2025. Remember that success is not an accident; it is the result of discipline, prayer, and hard work. Make 2026 the year you break your own records. Whether you are on the basketball court, in the chapel, or in the examination hall, strive for excellence in all things.
As we celebrate the beginning of 2026, let us remember the words of our patron saint. Let us be brave in the face of challenges and steadfast in our values. May this year bring peace to your homes, wisdom to our classrooms, and prosperity to the entire St. Balikuddembe S.S.S Kisoga community.
I wish you all a happy, healthy, and academically fruitful New Year!
For God and My Country.
Mrs. Kagoya
Headmistress, St. Balikuddembe S.S.S Kisoga
